The Supreme Court recently “delivered a blow to those who are pro-abortion when they turned down a case that challenged Kentucky's pro-life law, which required doctors to provide ultrasound images and play fetal heartbeats for women who were seeking an abortion.” Pro-Life is pro-science! The Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty educates about the sanctity of life. See www.lcrlfreedom.org for more information.

The Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty offers an encouraging word as we head into the March for Life in Washington D.C.: “Religious freedom in America has never meant, and will never mean, solely the freedom to worship privately. It has never meant, and will never mean, the ability to practice only a subset of faiths acceptable to some subset of politicians. It means the right to live your life according to the dictates of your faith and conscience – free from government coercion.” --U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

For your prayer list: The Supreme Court will decide before June on two major sets of cases: a pro-life statute from Louisiana and a collection of religious liberty cases. The outcome of both will have major ramifications far beyond the actual decisions themselves because of how those outcomes could be used to further expand pro-abortion state-based legislation, or further crack-down on religious liberties currently protected in federal law. Text “LCRL” to “444999” to receive the twice weekly “Word form the Center” devotions and informational pieces.
