Identifying as a woman, he feels like he's trapped in a man's body

That's the line. But how would he know what it feels like to be a woman? Especially since he's not a woman. I might feel like I'm all sorts of things, but that doesn't change who I am. I might feel tall, which is less of a stretch than feeling like I'm a woman. I might feel like I'm Native American, and find out I'm only 1/1024. But the gender ideology is stranger still. Male and female is written into every single chromosome of our bodies. XX or XY. It's a binary.

And no surgery can change that. Cutting off something here and adding something there does not change the body in any essential way. Cosmetically, maybe, but not functionally, not the way the body works. Those suffering from gender dysphoria often are really suffering. Even, as it should be noted, it spreads like a contagion, as it offers a number of social advantages. Even as it should be noted that there are other dysphorias, including people who claim to be transabled. Not to mention the financial advantages to those in the business. Not to mention the political advantage for those who know the family is the last and final institution to be toppled before the state is all in all.

What to do? Physician, first, do no harm. Time to call out places like Riley's Children's Hospital. Stop it with the puberty blockers and the hormone treatments. Could you even imagine the cruelty involved in the surgery that follows? Kids, allowed simply to grow up, will become comfortable in their own bodies some 90 percent of the time. Young people are easily confused, but most grow out of it, unless of course, they have the kind of parents who use them as pawns or are themselves manipulated and deceived.

What to do? Do not enable. Remember that two plus two equals four. To deny so basic a truth as male and female is to be manipulated at the deepest level. To give in to this is to admit that we are slaves to the world around us, that we are so afraid that we are willing to deny reality itself. And soon, we will internalize the lie, at the loss of our humanity. Forget the guns, Second Amendment friends. There will be nothing left to fight for.

No, the children are not all right. But instead of chemicals, let's try counseling. I thought Ashley Graham was helping all of us to become more comfortable in our own bodies. After all, there are sensitive boys, and there have always been tom girls. A strange thing that one needs a dress, long hair, and lipstick to be a girl, as Bruce Jenner taught us. There is a better way, and it's the way of sanity and compassion. Pray that we come to our senses. And pray that in the meantime, the casualties are few. When it's done, we will have to pray for forgiveness.

Be Informed

Ninety prolife laws have been passed in the United States. Hear why this matters on a recent Issues, Etc., podcast with Dr. Michael New.

Be Equipped

One pastor is bringing up an important point: “A nation that is destroying a quarter to a third of its future population [due to abortion] has to consider who is going to look after the old, the sick and disabled.” Click here to read on.

Be Encouraged

God shows us what it is to love every single day. Even the grace He gives us to change people’s hearts toward Him is an outpouring of His love. Let us love like Christ and sacrifice our time to save His unborn children. Let us show mothers who have had or are thinking of having an abortion the love that has been so beautifully bestowed upon us from our Father.
